Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine: Dusk – “The world has stopped when no one expected it to”

Posted by on December 17, 2021

Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Dusk as he’s been spending this time practicing the guitar.

What did you do to pass the time during quarantine?

Practicing and playing the guitar, recording ideas and random stuff, also collaborated with a Canadian band called “Lizard People” and a local Saudi artist “Khalid C”.

Have you been listening to music or do you have a playlist you should check out?

I’ve been listening a lot to Born of Osiris and the new Volumes album.

A lot of people have been cooking and making their own bread during this time. What foods have you been preparing during this time?

I can’t cook that well, if I tried really hard, I could make a decent steak.

As for entertainment, what movies, TV series, books or games keep you going?

Lately I have been addicted to horror movies, TV series, anything, as long as it’s horror.

What advice do you have for your fans in this time of isolation?

The world has stopped when no one expected it to. If you have a hobby and you want to get better at it, now is the right and only time to master it no matter what it is.
