Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
Let’s get this out of the way: we know that simply by reading the headline people are probably ready to toss in their very meaningful two cents with a comment that probably looks like “(insert band name here) SUCKS!!!! WHY R U TALKING ABOUT THEM?!” Well, your insightful opinion has been acknowledged. We hope you feel validated and that you can learn to forgive our egregious error and look past it in favor of the many other bands we have listed here. After all, we got some pretty cool debuts this week ranging from premiere metalcore acts to solo albums. Plus, a lot of albums from the likes of Karnivool and Volto! have gotten some nice (and by nice we mean ginormous) boosts in sales this week. See for yourself in our collection of album sales for this week. Also, that was sarcasm from before if you didn’t get it.
