Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Summer touring season usually yields some good numbers for album sales, even if the album isn’t really considered new anymore. A few bands have popped up again as a result of Vans Warped Tour, sporting albums released over a year ago. Others like Decapitated, our top debut this week, will be heading out a little later in the summer. And then, of course, albums from the likes of Metallica and Nickelback that will be up here for a long, long time. Also, I was really, really hoping Decapitated would be the top debut this week just so I could make a punny title.
