Earlier this week, Under The Gun Review discovered that iwrestledabearonce has filmed their very first horror film. This comes after The PRP discovered that the band were filming some sort of mini-movie last month.

Apparently the mini-movie features the band members acting and was directed by long-time collaborator Justin Beasley. Not much is known about the film’s plot, but Under The Gun Review promises that “lots of people die” in the film. It’s also unclear as to how this film will be distributed. However, the band apparently would like to show the movie theatrically in some fashion, possibly on off dates during an upcoming tour. One thing we do know for sure is that a trailer for iwrestledabearonce’s entry into horror cinema will be posted online in a few weeks.

So as you can tell, we don’t know too much about iwrestledabearonce’s new project. However, considering how they like to have fun with their music videos (like their most recent video for “You Know That Ain’t Them Dogs’ Real Voices”) and even press releases, it’s a safe bet that their horror film will be wacky to say the least. Who knows, maybe Principal Belding will reprise his role in “See You In Shell” for the horror film.
