Already written and scheduled for release this October 14th through Da Capo Press, Scott Ian will be releasing his autobiography I’m The Man: The Official Story Of Anthrax. Ian tells his story, from growing up in Queens, New York to a complete history of Anthrax, to the historic Big 4 show at Yankee Stadium with Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. The book is also to include “eye-popping full-color autobiographical comic book inserts.”
Ian has been working with Jon Wiederhorn, co-author of Louder Than Hell: The Definitive Oral History Of Metal and Ministry: The Lost Gospels According To Al Jourgensen and as well as a senior writer for Revolver, and a contributor to Vice’s Noisey, Yahoo Music, and Guitar World.
The book is available for preorder on Amazon in both hardcover and Kindle versions.
