Given the success of last year’s edition, it’s no surprise that Slipknot planned on bringing its destination festival Knotfest back to San Bernardino, CA this October. Now we know this year’s lineup, and it’s pretty damn impressive.
Taking place October 24 and 25 at the San Manuel Amphitheater, Slipknot will be joined by the likes of Judas Priest, Korn, Mastodon, Bring Me The Horizon, GWAR, Corrosion Of Conformity, At The Gates, Trivium, Clutch, Body Count, Cannibal Corpse, The Sword, Red Fang, Helmet, Snot and many, MANY others. In case you’re looking for diversity, the festival will also feature sets from Ghostface Killah and Mobb Deep. Seriously, this lineup is pretty damn stacked. But what makes this slightly even more interesting is that Slipknot will finally share a bill with GWAR (something Corey Taylor has wanted to do for years now). Although sadly it doesn’t appear they’ll be playing the same day (unlike last year, Slipknot will only be playing one night, while Judas Priest appear to be headlining the first night).
Early bird tickets go on sale this Monday, June 29. Check out the entire lineup for the festival (which promises five stages, food trucks, carnival rides and a special pre-party on October 23) as well as an intro video below. However expect even more bands to be announced soon.
