Bring back your inner child’s dream of being an astronaut and go buy a suit, as the christian hardcore entity, The Devil Wears Prada, will go to Space and they want you to join the odyssey. The band just announced the release of their upcoming conceptual EP titled Space set to be released on August 21st via Rise Records.

The concept of the album will circle on the subject of space and some of its celestial entities, created by the collaborative efforts of all the base members of the band, plus the current touring musicians Jonathan Gering (keyboards), and Kyle Sipress (lead guitar). Frontman Michael Hranica explains:

We learned a lot from the ‘Zombie’ EP, we wanted each song on the ‘Space’ EP to have a specificity about it, to have its own identity separate from the others, to have its own sound, but still have them all united in concept.  We talked about a lot of different themes, but ‘space’ just felt right.
Making this EP was a great experience because it allowed me to open up my imagination and creativity, not to be hindered by having too much knowledge of the subject and become overly analytical, being able to write a more fictional narrative.  We really look forward to making more records like this.
The “Space” EP track listing is:
1.  Planet A
2.  Alien
3.  Moongod
4.  Interlude (instrumental)
5.  Supernova
6.  Asteroid
