Former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver vocalist Scott Weiland has found himself in another supergroup. Yesterday, new band Art of Anarchy was announced, and the singer is once again in a band with another Guns N’ Roses member. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, currently one of three guitarists in GN’R,  has joined the band alongside Disturbed bassist John Moyer and brothers Jon and Vince Votta. A Spring release is expected for the album, a video teaser of which is below.

The band grew from a 18-year  friendship that Bumblefoot had with the Votta brothers. The record promises to be “harder-edged” than previous Weiland stuff. It’s not the only project for the vocalist though, as Weiland’s current solo project, Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts, is in the process of having their debut album being crowdfunded. And while Disturbed will eventually reunite, Moyer seems to have some time on his hands, as he recently left Adrenaline Mob.
