So next April, Rob Caggiano is going to go on tour with Anthrax. Actually, he’ll be on tour with Volbeat, but both bands are touring together. In fact, his former band is opening for his current band. While that might seem a little odd, Volbeat are breakout start from the last five years or so, and while Anthrax has a 30 year legacy, Volbeat definitely win the popular vote despite Anthrax’s inclusion in the Big 4. Crobot will be opening the tour. Tomorrow (29), a presale will start at 10AM for fan club members, while general on-sale date will be Friday (Halloween) at 10AM. The late April tour start date suggests that Anthrax might have completed their new album by then. At least we’ve heard a little bit of it already.
