MetalSucks reader Amber McCullers recently shared a video of her six year old son performing his own death metal rendition of ‘Let it Go,’ from the hit Disney animated film Frozen, in his home living room studio. Performing in true rock star attire, a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and briefs, this kid shows that he may have the confidence to carry him far in metal, if he didn’t already have plans on becoming a scientist.
“Let It Go” is easily one of the most popular songs of the last year, the movie soundtrack breaking triple platinum in the US alone. With such huge success, it is no surprise that covers are popping up all over the place, including Sumerian Record’s deathcore outfit Betraying the Martyrs, as well as Norwegian power metal singer PelleK. This could be the most metal version sung by a six year old yet, however.
