Zakk Wylde is no stranger to late night TV, once even sitting in with The Roots back when Jimmy Fallon was still on at 12:35. Last night, though, Black Label Society got the chance to actually play a full song, performing “Angel Of Mercy” on Late Night With Seth Meyers. However, those looking forward to seeing BLS burn through a heavy song on national TV were disappointed, as Wylde and co. chose to play one of the lighter songs off the new album Catacombs Of The Black Vatican. Those also hoping to seeing new guitarist Dario Lorina in action were also disappointed, as he was stuck on piano duty for the night. Regardless, it’s still great to see BLS playing on TV (and it also lead to a fun Live Q&A on the show’s Facebook page).
