Dust Bolt are a young German thrash band. And by young, we mean it. The band’s average age is 21, but they play with a maturity of band twice their age. They formed in 206, but their career really took off when they won the Wacken Metal Battle, which led to a slot at Wacken Open Air and a deal with Napalm. The band’s first album, 2012’s Violent Demolition, found them on the road with Obituary and Heathen and garnering nominations for Best Album and Best Newcomer at the Metal Hammer awards in 2013. Now they’ve returned with their sophomore album, Awake the Riot, and we’re proud to bring you the lyric video premiere of “Beneath the Earth.”
Awake the Riot will be out on June 10th in America and May 30th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Napalm Records.
