On Chimaira’s most recent tour stop in Guadalajera, Mexico, the band suffered a misfortune that many musicians are familiar with. The following was posted on the band’s Facebook:
Greetings from Mexico. Last night in Guadalajara, the promoter’s van was broken into while we were at dinner and unfortunately, a few of our instruments were stolen. It did not matter that we were in a well-lit secured parking lot, thieves got away with our stuff. The show must go on and I guess at the end of the day we can share the heartache that so many other artists have had to endure.

You gotta give the band credit for wanting to press forward. There’s only so much you can do in the case of stolen equipment (and a really expensive high quality laptop to boot). The Facebook post includes pictures of the equipment stolen, so should any of that look familiar to anyone in or around Mexico, the band would appreciate your help.
