Adrenaline Mob-Men Of HonorAdrenaline Mob has been teasing a new album and the replacement for Mike Portnoy since October. Now we know not only who the new guy behind the drum kit will be, but when we can expect to hear new music.

It was announced today that Adrenaline Mob has signed a new deal with Century Media Records (who released their debut album Omerta in Europe but not in the U.S.). The label will release the group’s new album Men Of Honor in North America on February 18, as well as internationally on February 24. The announcement also revealed that Adrenaline Mob will be joined on drums by A.J. Pero of Twisted Sister. The new addition makes sense given that Pero also plays in TRED with guitarist Mike Orlando, and that Adrenaline Mob is after all considered a “supergroup” (also featuring Symphony X’s Russell Allen and Disturbed’s John Moyer).

While Men Of Honor comes out in February, Adrenaline Mob is giving fans the chance to listen to the album in advance. Starting today, the band will stream a track a week on its website each week leading up to the release of the album. You can either head over to www.AdrenalineMob.com to listen to the album’s opening track “The Mob Is Back” or give it a listen in the soundcloud player below. In short, though, it’s the type of hard rock you’d expect from Adrenaline Mob that disappointed many Portnoy/Symphony X fans who initially hoped for a prog metal project (but will likely win over Twisted Sister fans checking out the drummer’s new group).
