Blake Judd has been on a roll since his release from jail. Less than a day after premiering a new song from Nachtmystium, Judd has taken to his personal Facebook account to share updates on another one of his projects, Twilight. More specifically, Judd states that not only will the black metal supergroup’s long await third album Beneath The Tridents Tomb come out in March via Century Media Records, but it’ll also be its last one.
Commenting on his latest profile picture (as seen above), Judd shared the following:
“Again, thanks to everyone who’s commented, ‘liked’ and / or written to me. You guys are really making me realize just how many people I have out there that a give a shit…many of you I know, but the majority of you I do not, and that means the world to me that so many of you (literally over 150 in forty eight hours….that’s insane!) care enough to have taken time out of your days to write. Thank you SO much. It’s making this entire experience so much easier on me. I feel less alone now than I have in years and that’s amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
PS – many of you have been asking about the pending TWILIGHT record, Beneath The Tridents Tomb. The album is finally ready to be released and will be coming out on Century Media Records worldwide in March of next year. This will be the last Twilight album too might I add.”
Beneath The Tridents Tomb will mark Twilight’s first album since 2010’s Monument to Time End. The alum has been in the works for well over a year, with Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore joining the band in the summer of 2012. While he makes it clear that it’ll be out in March via Century Media, it’s unclear with Moore is still involved in Twilight. Actually, it’s unclear as to who else is still in Twilight, other than Judd. Regardless, if all goes according to plan, we could have lots of new music from Judd next year, which after all the trouble he found himself in the past month is good to hear.
