Exodus and Slayer touring guitarist Gary Holt took the stage in Oakland last night to perform Slayer songs with Hanneman Lecter, an all-star tribute to the late Slayer guitarist, Jeff Hanneman. In addition to Gary Holt, the band was also joined by Craig Locicero, guitarist of Forbidden and Spiralarms.
The “Hannemania” event took place at the Oakland Metro Operahouse in Oakland, California and the band covered two of the most popular Slayer songs that Hanneman wrote, “The Antichrist” and “South of Heaven.” Fan filmed videos of these two performances are posted below.

Jeff Hanneman’s final performance with Slayer took place in April of 2011 when he performed an encore with the Big 4 in Indio, California, but his legend lives on in the following videos.
