Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

It’s one of those weeks where it looks like everybody put out an album. We’ve got a lot of debuts this week, and while we can’t say we’re surprised that Alice In Chains ended up taking the top spot, they did make it to number 2, right behind the ever-successful Daft Punk album. That’s pretty bitchin’. And if that doesn’t please you enough, picture a Tyrannosaurus Rex trying unsuccessfully to play guitar with its tiny arms. If you don’t think that’s funny, then you are sad and we have no desire to speak with you.
