OK, so except for the sad fact that a man died at a concert two years ago, things are looking up in the Lamb of God and Gojira camp. With Randy Blythe out of jail (even though he still faces manslaughter charges), Lamb of God will be playing Knotfest, and it also looks like Gojira are adding several dates on to their short headlining tour. Chief among them is a second small club show in New York in August with a show in Pontiac MI the following day.

There had been rumors of an August 14th show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (in fact, it was announced), but that was later canceled. The New York, Pontiac and Chicago dates are intimate shows that fans might want to snap up tickets for, like now. The dates are as follows:

08/09 New York, NY – Santos Party House
08/11 Toronto, ON – Heavy T.O. Festival
08/12 Montreal, QC – Heavy MTL Festival
08/13 Worcester, MA – The Palladium (Upstairs)
08/14 New York, NY – The Studio @ Webster Hall (with Car Bomb)
08/15 Pontiac, MI – The Crofoot’s Pike Room (with Car Bomb)
08/16 Chicago, IL – Bottom Lounge
08/18 Minneapolis, MN – Knotfest
08/19 Milwaukee, WI – Rave Bar
08/20 Cleveland, OH – Peabody’s Concert Club
