While you may be still trying to get those last minute gifts for family members you forgot about during Black Friday, this is also the time of year when people start making their New Year’s Eve plans. And now Kyuss Lives! (three out of four original members of Kyuss) is giving fans a special option to celebrate the new year.

The stoner rock legends have announced that they will be playing an intimate show at Cherry Cola’s Rock N’ Rolla Cabaret & Lounge in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on New Year’s Eve. The performance will also include a meet-and-greet with the band. Ok, but how “intimate” are we talking here? Well supposedly only 70 tickets will be available for this special New Year’s Eve show. That’s right, only 70 tickets will be sold. Pretty damn intimate, eh?

Here’s the catch, though: tickets will cost you $200. A little pricy for sure, but considering that most New Year’s Eve shows will cost you a pretty penny, AND that you’re paying $200 for a very intimate show and meet-and-greet, it’s a pretty good deal. Plus, did we mention that this is for Kyuss Lives!? What will be interesting, though, is to see whether bassist Nick Oliveri or Scott Reeder will be playing the show (you may recall that Reeder filled in for the band’s Canadian dates while Oliveri’s legal troubles). And considering that the band plans to enter the studio in early 2012, this show could be the start of a big year for Kyuss Lives!

Tickets can be purchased via Rotate This or through the club, while more information can be found at Cherry Cola’s website.
