Black Sabbath’s announcement last Friday, November 11, is still causing buzz amongst the metal community. Sure, it may not come as much of a shock to some that the original lineup of Black Sabbath is reuniting for shows. However, it certainly was a surprise to hear that they were already planning to record a new album with producer Rick Rubin (who worked with the band during their ill-attempted sessions in 2001). Yet despite all of the contradiction in the past few months (mainly from Tony Iommi), Black Sabbath have indeed returned to record new music and perform live once again.

And now you can see the four original members, as well as Rubin and Q&A host/singer Henry Rollins, talking about the reunion during the 11/11/11 press conference for yourself. Multiple clips from the press conference, which was held at The Whiskey A Go Go in L.A., have made its way online. You can watch a short video of the conference that Black Sabbath posted online themselves above, while more footage (including the entire press conference posted by Stephanie Cabral) after the jump.

So far, the only date Sabbath have planned is the UK’s Download Festival on June 10, 2012, while the band is reportedly halfway through the writing process and will start recording early next year. Hopefully more will be revealed soon via the band’s newly launched official website, Facebook, and Twitter.
