Since our chunk last at the end of 2025, January has brought an extensive batch of fifty-three new tracks as well as fresh videos from already-existing albums or live performances. Note: The track features Miles Dimitri Baker (Ice Nine Kills) the forthcoming record marks the group’s overall debut album.

Note: Supergroup featuring Robin McAuley (McAuley Schenker Group), Reb Beach (Winger, Whitesnake), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, The End Machine, ex-Dokken), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big).

05) Bloodstain – “Conspiracy”

Genre: Thrash Metal
Location: Sweden
Note: These thrash newcomers were formed in late 2023 by four teenagers, primarily inspired by early Bay Area thrash and classic heavy metal and later self-released their debut EP, I Am Death. The band are set to appear at Hellfest 2026.

06) Breaking Benjamin’s Keith Wallen – “A Thin Line”

Genre: Rock
Note: The Breaking Benjamin guitarist has been dropping singles over the course of the last twelve months. This next one promises to deliver a nostalgic sound of alt power ballads of the late ’90s.

07) Capsize – “Under a Hollow Sky” 

Genre: Melodic Hardcore
Location: San Diego, CA
Note: The track is part of the group’s return who have released sporadic singles over the years. However, 2026 is promised to be their year when it comes to a new album, an overall follow-up to 2016’s The Essence of All That Surrounds Me. 

08) Carpenter Brut – “The Misfits The Rebels”

Album: Leather Temple, out February 27, 2026 via No Quarter Prod / Virgin Records.
Genre: Darksynth

09) Charlotte Wessels’ The Obsession – “After Us, The Flood”

Location: Netherlands
Note: The former Delain vocalist is ready for the next chapter, following the 2024 The Obsession album cycle. Since leaving Delain, Wessels hasn’t stopped making music, including the two full-length song compilations, Tales From Six Feet Under (2021) and Tales From Six Feet Under Vol. II (2022), to her full studio album, The Obsession (2024).

10) Claustrofobia – “AQUI NÃO”

Genre: Death/Thrash Metal
Location: Brazil
Note: Standalone single in the group’s native Portuguese language featuring the special surprise Brazilian guest, Ratos de Porao singer João Gordo.

11) Converge – “We Were Never The Same”

Album: Love Is Not Enough, out February 13, 2026 via Deathwish / Epitaph.
Genre: Metalcore
