This past June, the metal community mourned the loss of SiriusXM Liquid Metal host/musician Mario Comesanas. And this coming November, a few bands will continue to pay homage to the beloved radio personality. Merauder, Razorblade Handgrenade, and The Banner are a few of the bands set to perform at a benefit show for Comesanas. The all age show will be held on November 18 at The Irish in Kearny, NJ, with tickets going for $15.

In addition to his work on-air at SiriusXM and WSOU, Comesanas also worked with Revolver Magazine, where he represented the magazine at the Mayhem Fest 2008 and 2009). In addition, he sang in the bands December Aeternalis and Low Road. He passed away in June from an alleged sudden brain hemorrhage. Comesanas was only 30 years old.
