Vision Divine have officially welcomed back Michele Luppi as their vocalist, with new material already in progress alongside guitarist and band leader Olaf Thorsen. Luppi, known for his work on fan-favorite albums Stream of Consciousness, The Perfect Machine, and The 25th Hour, returns after years of performing with Whitesnake and other major acts.

His comeback follows the departure of Ivan Giannini, whose sudden exit after the release of Blood and Angels’ Tears in September 2024 led to the cancellation of the band’s December shows. While Roberto Tiranti stepped in for select performances earlier this year, Luppi is now confirmed as the band’s new frontman.

With a renewed partnership with Scarlet Records, Vision Divine is preparing for their next chapter. Fans can catch them live at the Metalitalia Festival on September 28th, with more updates expected soon.

Olaf Thorsen comments:

“Everything happens for a reason. Michele and I parted ways after three albums that defined our peak – works still celebrated by our fans and critics alike. Now, years later, fate has brought us back together at the perfect moment to bring back the same vision of creating something just as powerful, with the same artistic depth and impact. You asked for it for years. Today, it’s reality!”

Michele Luppi adds:

“Careful what you wish for! Life is full of circles and I’ve always felt there was unfinished business between me and the band I started my recording career with. It feels great to be a frontman again after many years supporting my heroes… This is the right time and we’ll make sure we’ll handle the whole thing with true passion – at the end of the day, Music is what really matters and I’m so proud of what we did back then! Can’t wait to start this new chapter!”
