Static-X has released a music video for their new single “Bring You Down.” The video features the band playing the song with late frontman Wayne Static’s face superimposed on a blue light over the face of a stand-in frontman.

“Bring You Down” is the third single from the band’s new album, Project Regeneration, Vol. 1, their first new album in more than a decade. Released  on July 10, Project Regeneration features songs constructed around Static’s final vocal recordings. Back in February, the band released the single “Hollow.” It was followed in May with a video for the song “All These Years.” The band released their previous album, Cult of Static, in 2009.

‘Project Regeneration, Vol. 1’ is the first of a two album set. A release timeline for ‘Volume 2’ has not been revealed yet.

Last year, the band’s “classic” line-up (bassist Tony Campos, guitarist Koichi Fukuda and drummer Ken Jay), plus touring frontman Xer0, toured in celebration of the life of Static, as well as the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut album, Wisconsin Death Trip.

Static-X are set to play the 3 Day Mini Fest (formerly the Herd Immunity Fest) in Ringle, WI taking place this weekend, July 16-18.
