This Friday (4th), Vancouver heavy metal act Iron Kingdom’s new album On the Hunt will arrive. Formed in 2011, the group has worked hard to capture an electrifying stage presence as they’ve been inspired by bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, and more. The band has already shared the stage with Angra, Blaze Bayley, Flotsam and Jetsam, Hammerfall, and many more. Now, the group’s fourth LP is a huge step forward from 2015’s Ride For Glory as the group has independently recorded and produced their latest offering. Today (2nd), Iron Kingdom have teamed up with Metal Insider for an exclusive early stream of On The Hunt.
The band commented:
“Iron Kingdom has been due for a new album for, let’s be honest, years! However, we feel we’re coming back with a valiant and strong effort. This album, ‘On The Hunt’ has been a huge step forward for us as a band, recording it on our own, producing it on our own, it just has that much more of a personal touch. We feel it combines all the best components from our previous records all in one clean energetic package, and if Iron Kingdom is new to you, well perhaps you will now delve into our old material and find some new favourites from the past as well!
Although we took a while to get to this new release, we feel this album is going to have a lasting impression on our fans and the band name.
On a side note, we can’t wait to start writing a new one for ya! But that’s a conversation for another time. Let’s focus on the here and now, and get into the great Hunt that’s about to begin,
Iron Kingdom is back, and we’re ready to bring the steel!! Stay Heavy brothers and sisters of the Kingdom! The hunt is on, and we’re coming for ya!”
