Earlier this month, Lorna Shore announced their first-ever co-headlining U.S tour w/ Enterprise Earth, as well as Bodysnatcher and Within Destruction. Today (24th), just a few weeks after their tour reveal, guitarist Connor Deffley has decided to quit the band.
The group issued the following statement:
“Our brother Connor Deffley has stepped down from his position in Lorna Shore. We love him, and will miss him dearly. Without his contributions to the band over the past 5 years, the band would have not been able to accomplish all the beautiful memories we can look back on. We want you all to wish him well and thank him for being apart of this family for half a decade. Best of luck with all your future endeavors Connor! We will see you soon 🖤”
Deffley explained his decision:
“As of today, I’m officially no longer a part of Lorna Shore. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but ultimately I feel that it’s time for me to pursue some other opportunities. The last five years have been an absolute blessing and I couldn’t be more proud of all we accomplished in that time.
I want to say thanks to all of the fans and life long friends I have made during my time with LS, but most importantly i want to say thanks to my brothers in the band. I wish them the best of luck with all their endeavors and can’t wait to see what the future of Lorna Shore brings.”
The band hasn’t revealed Deffley’s replacement just yet but, it’s safe to assume we will find out before their spring tour kicks off on March 29th.
