Last night (3rd), Guns N’ Roses performed in Berlin, Germany. While they played classics such as “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” they decided to spice things by performing a cover of sorts, Velvet Revolver’s “Slither.” Velvet Revolver, a supergroup that existed from 2002-2008, featured Guns’ Slash and Duff McKagan, as well as former GN’R member Matt Sorum, along with guitarist Dave Kushner and singer Scott Weiland. Given that the Axl Rose has been singing for AC/DC as of late, it shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise that he tackle another iconic vocalist, but it definitely seems like something his ego wouldn’t allow him to do even a decade ago.
