If you’re calling a song “Total Annihilation,” you damn well better deliver. Thankfully, Stalker does that and more. The New Zealand thrash band released their first their first demo, Satanic Panic, last year. However, you could be forgiven if you thought it came out on the heels of Hell Awaits-era Slayer. Its loud, fast, heavy and unrelenting, with guitar solos, blast beats, vocals that are guttural but high-pitched when they need to be. Napalm was smart enough to sign the band and are issuing the album for the rest of the world on November 18th. Here’s “Total Annihilation,” which will probably make you want to prepare your battle vest and ride off into war.

Shadow of the Sword will be out on Napalm Records on November 18th, and can be preordered here
