It’s been a long time since we got any new music from A Perfect Circle. The last original song the band put out before their hiatus was “Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums” on 2004’s eMOTIVe. A 2013 greatest hits album, Three Sixty, included a song “By and Down,”  that the band had been playing as far back as 2011. However, last night, they debuted a new song at the kickoff of their tour in Las Vegas.

Reportedly titled “Feathers,” its a moody and gorgeous song, leaning on frontman Maynard James Keenan to sell it, which he does with his plaintive and yearning vocals. Obviously, this is fan-recorded, so the audio and video aren’t optimal, but you can hear the song pretty well. While there’s no release date for their fourth album overall yet, having just signed with BMG, they’ll have something out this year, and you’ll be able to catch them live over the next month. Scroll down for the dates.
