Danny Wimmer Presents, who brought Tool to Sacramento last year as part of the Aftershock Festival, appear to be bringing the band back to California this Summer. The concert promoter teased a not-so-cryptic photo of am amphitheater with Tool’s logo in the grass and the date 6/24. We’re assuming they’ll be announcing a June 24th show soon, unless it’s a reference to the song “Forty Six and Two,” because fibonacci sequences and whatnot.

Metal Injection, the craft bastards that they are, deduced that the band’s show the night before is in Sacramento and did an image search of amphitheaters in California, finding that the San Manuel Amphitheater, now known as the Glen Helen Amphitheater, looks a hell of a lot like the image teased in the above photo.
