There’s a new Queens of the Stone Age album coming – that much we know. We also know that they’ll be playing Outside Lands in August. And while there’s been a completely unconfirmed supposed single coming in July, there’s been no official word of their seventh album yet, the band just released something kind of cryptic that suggests something is happening.
What is “twentyfive?” Well, two hours later, the band tweeted that they’d be playing Australia and New Zealand in July using the new logo. And it certainly is a new logo, since their Outside Lands tweet earlier this week used their old logo. In other Queens-related news, band leader Josh Homme posted an Instagram a picture of his hand in a cast after some sort of surgical procedure. There’s no official word on what he had done, but some fans have noted that the cast is similar to one after someone gets surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. We’ll find out soon most likely.
