Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Oh, hello. Missed you all last week. But we’re back with MBN where some things have change, some are the same. For example, Metallica are still in the top ten with Korn and Skillet following close behind. On the other hand, Metallica’s second best selling album this week was not The Black Album, but …And Justice For All, which pulled over 5,000 units this week, followed closely by Ride the Lightning. Also, a few albums have dropped off the charts, including Five Finger Death Punch’s latest, though I wouldn’t expect things to stay that way. And Obituary return to lead the back with their tenth album, which earned a top fifty debut.
