As you may know, Ghost has a new EP titled Popestar that some are suggesting will come out Friday (16). We heard its first single “Square Hammer” earlier this week but there seems to be more coming, and the cities of Los Angeles and New York have been chosen to get it.
Ghost just posted another cryptic announcement via their social media, asking their fans in Los Angeles, CA to go to the Monty Bar in downtown LA at 9:30pm; and their fans in New York City to go to Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn at midnight. That’s all the information they released but they said that “Your presence is welcomed, your reward will be generous.”
This could be a simultaneous release party in both cities, considering the times both events will start or it could be something better. If you live in one of these cities and don’t have plans in the evening, we suggest you go and see what the fuss is all about.
