Whenever you get bored about all the politics and SJWy topics on your social media, remember to go check what The Satanic Temple is up to, and you’ll almost always find something entertaining. Last time we saw what the temple was doing, they unveiled their Baphomet statue originally intended to be placed on the Oklahoma State capitol, and eventually moved to Detroit. Now they want to go to school to teach your kids about the dark lord.

The Satanic Temple is planning on unveiling its After School Satan Club to public elementary schools, including one in Prince Georges County, petitioning school officials to allow them to open immediately as the academic year starts. Co-founder and spokesman of the temple, Lucien Greaves elaborates about the subject:

“It’s important that children be given an opportunity to realize that the evangelical materials now creeping into their schools are representative of but one religious opinion amongst many. While the Good News Clubs focus on indoctrination, instilling them with a fear of Hell and God’s wrath, After School Satan Clubs will focus on free inquiry and rationalism, the scientific basis for which we know what we know about the world around us. We prefer to give children an appreciation of the natural wonders surrounding them, not a fear of everlasting other-worldly horrors.”

The group says meetings will include a healthy snack, literature lesson, creative learning activities, a science lesson, puzzle solving and an art project. Every child will receive a membership card and must have a signed parental-permission slip to attend.

Chapter heads from New York, Boston, Utah and Arizona were in Salem on July 10 talking strategy, with others from Minneapolis, Detroit, San Jose, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Florida participating online. If you still aren’t convinced to sign up your children to this idea, take a look at the promotional video and get those permission slips ready for the next school year.
