If last week’s charts felt a bit scarce to you, fret not: we have twelve debuts this week. A handful of these are heavy hitters too, which is saying something considering how many other big albums are set to release in the coming weeks. One thing that’s for sure is there’s going to be a something for everyone to sink their teeth (or ears, I guess) into this summer, so this is only the beginning of the new soundtrack to your burger grilling and beer chugging (or soda, no judgement).

The band’s lands their best ever debut in the top five.

 

Hatebreed, The Concrete Confessional (Nuclear Blast) #13, 16,525 sold

This sold just a little less than Hatebreed’s previous album, but it’s a very strong debut nonetheless.

 

DevilDriver, Trust No One (Napalm) #16, 12,225 sold

Dez Fafara and co’s latest outdoes Winter Kills on the charts.

 

Avatar, Feathers & Flesh (eOne) #31, 6,450 sold

This is the band’s highest charting debut yet in the US.

 

Gorguts, Pleiades’ Dust (Season of Mist) #92, 2,250 sold

The band’s single track EP has a better debut than the band’s latest LP Colored Sands.

 

Kvelertak, Nattesferd (Roadrunner) #99, 2,150 sold

Kvelertak’s third album lands their best debut yet on the charts, and quite possibly the best-ever all Norwegian record debut ever.

 

Destruction, Under Attack (Nuclear Blast) 990 sold

This is the German band’s fourteenth album.

 

Head Wound City, New Wave of Violence (Three One G) 700 sold

This noisegrind supergroup featuring members of The Blood Brothers and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs put out a lone EP over ten years ago and have reunited for their debut LP.

 

Discharge, End of Days (Nuclear Blast) 550 sold

This is the band’s first album in eight years.

 

Red Tide Rising, Voices (Vanity) 520 sold

This is the band’s new EP that features some of the most unique song titles ever.

 

Grand Magus, Sword Songs (Nuclear Blast) 480 sold

The band’s eighth album landed at #30 in Germany.

 

Vesuvius, My Place of Solace and Rest (Tragic Hero) 390 sold

This is the metalcore act’s debut record. Not to be confused with the fictional band of the same name from Rainn Wilson’s The Rocker.

Disturbed, Immortalized (Reprise) #30, 6,675 sold

A drop of 10%, but the album continues its consistent sales.

 

Rob Zombie, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser (UMe) #36, 5,225 sold

This still has pretty good third week with a drop of 42%.

 

Deftones, Gore (Reprise) #70, 2,900 sold

This will cross the 100,000 mark next week.

 

Five Finger Death Punch, Got Your Six (Prospect Park) #71, 2,850 sold

Got your 6% drop. At least they’ll Rise soon enough. See what we did there?

 

Sixx:A.M., Prayers for the Damned (Eleven Seven) #84, 2,500 sold

A 44% drop.

 

Shinedown, Threat To Survival (Atlantic) #115, 1,850 sold

A slight drop of 7%.

 

Babymetal, Metal Resistance (RAL) #144, 1,575 sold

A 26% drop. Maybe they should tour with Rob Zombie next?

 

Megadeth, Dystopia (Tradecraft/UMe) #156, 1,500 sold

A small drop of 6%.

 

Asking Alexandria, The Black (Sumerian) #159, 1,325 sold

Nearly 45,000 sold.

 

Tremonti, Dust (Fret12) #178, 1,250 sold

A 43% drop leaves this in the dust.

 

Bring Me The Horizon, That’s The Spirit (Columbia) #183, 1,250 sold

Over 150,000 sold.

 

Amon Amarth, Jomsviking (Metal Blade) #187, 1,225 sold

A slight drop of 12%.

 

Ace Frehley, Origins Vol. 1 (eOne) #189, 1,200 sold

A 33% drop.

 

Vektor, Terminal Redux (Earache) 600 sold

Only a 5% drop in week two.

 

Fallujah, Dreamless (Nuclear Blast) 580 sold

Dream less of a 34% drop.

 

Cilver, Not the End of the World (eOne) 540 sold

This nabs a boost of 21%.

 

 Red Sun Rising, Polyester Zeal (Razor & Tie) 440 sold

A tiny drop of 9%.

 

The Plot In You, Happiness In Self Destruction (Stay Sick) 400 sold

Another big boost of 71%.

 

Aborted, Retrogore (Century Media) 350 sold

Sales got aborted after a 38% drop.

 

Haken, Affinity (InsideOut) 330 sold

Haken has taken a 46% drop.

 

Texas Hippie Coalition, Dark Side of Black (Carved) 330 sold

A 31% drop.

 

Westfield Massacre, Westfield Massacre (Urban Yeti) 290 sold

This dropped off the week after its debut, but now it’s back.

 

Erra, Drift (Sumerian) 280 sold

A 10% drop
