Next Friday (3), Hellyeah will release their fifth album, Unden!able. And while we’ve already gotten to hear a few songs from the forthcoming album, over the weekend at Rock on the Range, radio station WQLZ interviewed the band’s Tom Maxwell, who mentioned something that will be of interest to Pantera fans. The band covers Phil Collins’ “I Don’t Care Anymore,” and it will feature guitars from late guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.
“We did a version of Phil Collins‘ “I Don’t Care Anymore“, but here’s the cool thing, we made it ours. And uh, Dime and Vinnie recorded that track years ago so we we went in and dug up his tracks and put it on the record man. So Dime‘s on our album.”
That makes it a must-listen for any Pantera fan, not to mention probably any Phil Collins fan. Unden!able will be released on June 3rd on Eleven Seven Music and can be preordered here. Here’s the interview.
