DevilDriver vocalist Dez Fafara said they’d be recording a new album in October and November, and he’s a man of his word. According to Metal Hammer, Fafara has announced that album number seven will be called Trust No One, and it will come out on May 13th, 2016.

Said Fafara on the new album,

“Trust No One is filled with killer riffs, groove after groove and massive hooks. It’s rightly named – there will be explanation needed regarding what the title means. The lyrics are volatile and straight to the point. See you next year on tour.”

This will be the first DevilDriver album to feature former Chimaira drummer Austin D’Amond, and new guitarist Neal Tiemann, formerly of Burn Halo. They replaced drummer John Boecklina and guitarist Jeff Kendrick who left DevilDriver about a year ago. Dez put DevilDriver on hiatus while he was focusing on his former band Coal Chamber and their latest album, Rivals, their first new release in 13 years.
