This Saturday, ProgPower USA XVII tickets went on sale to the general public, and sold out in a record nine hours. The festival, which took almost two weeks to rid all of its tickets last year, crushed all previous sales records this time around. Even with some Ticketmaster faults and having the ability to purchase the tickets online delayed didn’t stop the momentum of this years’ festival.
Next year’s show will feature U.S. exclusive shows of Fate’s Warning with original vocalist John Arch performing the entirety of their Awaken the Guardian album, Devin Townsend doing a set with guest vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen, as well as Green Carnation playing their entire Light of Day, Day of Darkness album.
