Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe was found inncocent of manslaughter charges by the Czech Appeals Court back in 2013, but with a great cost: drummer Chris Adler said the entire ordeal, “bankrupted the entire band, no money left for any kind of payroll or anything.”

So according to a report by the Associated Press, Blythe had understandably sought out $640,000 from the Czech courts, to help offset all those massive costs, but Blythe’s lawyer said his request was rejected and he won’t be getting anything. And we’re pretty sure that lawyer wasn’t free, either.

It’s a good thing, then, that Lamb of God’s latest album VII: Sturm Und Drang is doing well. Having debuted at #2 on the US charts, selling 47,175 copies in its first week, it was also propelled by Lamb of God going out with Slipknot on Summer’s Last Stand tour. The song “512” (below) from VII: Sturm Und Drang was inspired by his time spent in the Czech jail.
