If you’re a fan of both Slipknot and Dr. Who, then you’re in for a treat. This Saturday’s episode will feature Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. Actually, he won’t be acting in it, but his screams will be heard. The Slipknot/Stone Sour vocalist will be doing some voice acting, yelling as the Fisher King, an alien warlord that battles Dr. Who. According to The Mirror, Taylor is a big fan of the long-running British science fiction series, and word of that trickled to Dr. Who producers, who reached out to him after hearing the band were playing Cardiff this past January. He was apparently given a VIP tour of the set, and asked if he wanted to scream as the Fisher King, whose speaking voice is Shaun of the Dead‘s Peter Serafinowicz. He’s played by Neil Fingleton, who at 7’ 7″ is the tallest person in Britain. Taylor himself is psyched about it, having tweeted about it yesterday.
You have NO idea how hard it's been to keep this awesome secret…
