John Bush was the vocalist in Anthrax from 1992 through 2005, then again for a brief stint in 2009, appearing on five studio albums. The first album, Sound of White Noise came out in 1993, and the last was We’ve Come for You All in 2003.
Recently Bush has gone and aired some dirty laundry on a recent episode of Jamey Jasta’s Jasta Show podcast about some financials regarding his former band.
Said Bush:
“I probably shouldn’t be saying this, but I’m saying it. I’m out there signing Anthrax records I made. I just wanna be paid for the records made and sold. I’m super proud of all the music I made in Anthrax, I just wanna be paid for it. I don’t even get statements. It was a pain in the butt.”
John Bush says he’s been paid, but “I just haven’t been paid consistently and not updated.” Now back with Armored Saint (a band he co-founded back in the early 80s), they’ve since released a new album this year, Win Hands Down, which is something Bush is probably hoping for against those pesky Anthrax accountants.
