We’re just a few days away from the release of The Black Dahlia Murder’s new offering Abysmal via Metal Blade Records but that’s no reason to wait to enjoy it, as the band just released the entire album for streaming right now. Frontman Trevor Strnad states about the new album:

Once the record started to come together we knew it was going to be something special,It’s more urgent, it has more dynamics, it’s a more emotive record, and it has a more raw, angry sound to it. It’s still million mile-per-hour death metal, but when you invest so much thought and emotion into what you’re creating you end up with a record that does stand out, and we can hold our heads up high and say yeah, this is our best work.

After the release of their critically-acclaimed album Everblack  back in 2013, the band set themselves a really high bar to match, let alone surpass, but the album sounds solid from beginning to end. The boys will hit the road soon, supporting the new album, and you can be sure you’ll get to listen some of these tunes in your city. Check out the dates below and make sure to grab the album as soon as possible:

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
