Manchester quartet Midas Fall are set to release their third album, The Menagerie Inside, on September 4 on Monotreme Records. Led by the expressive and haunting vocals of Elizabeth Heaton, the band’s atmospheric, progressive post-rock has gained them a following over the course of their first two releases. Today, we’re proud to present the North American premiere of the album’s first video “Push.” The artfully-shot video is a dramatic look at an abusive relationship that’s slightly disturbing until it’s final frame. Here’s what the band says about the video, which was directed by Juzz Media’s Sebastian Juszczyk:

The video is a fraught imagining of a person being both emotionally and physically pushed to their absolute limit, but at the same time unable to divest completely from their cyclical, self-destructive relationship.

The Menagerie Inside will be released on September 4th on Monotreme Records. It can be preordered here.
