Guns N’ Roses recently performed for the first time with their reunited “classic” lineup last weekend and performed an intimate show at The Troubador in Hollywood, CA making it their debut for their scheduled reunion tour they have. We saw some footage of the gig and everything looked like it worked out perfectly and everyone had a blast. But it seems like not everyone had a great time, or at least a specific body part didn’t, as it seems like Axl Rose broke his foot and required surgery.
Axl posted a tweet with a video showing his doctor explaining the recent injury he sustained on his foot and even explaining the procedure he required to get it treated. It shouldn’t be a surprise that the announcement was made by the doctor herself and not Axl or any of GN’R representative because, well, that’s how GN’R work.
The band is scheduled to perform tonight at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV but according to his doctor, Axl should be able to perform as scheduled as he’ll be wearing a cast so, unless he decides not to play just because he doesn’t feel like it, you should be able to see him and the rest of the guys performing as schedule. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
The only ones we know for sure will be missing Axl performing are two Wisconsin men that got arrested on their way to Las Vegas to see Guns N’ Roses for carrying a bunch of drugs. The Wisconsin local news report says the following:
Two Wisconsin men are behind bars after being found with meth, marijuana, prescription pills and LSD on the way to Las Vegas for a Guns N’ Roses concert.
Around 1:40 a.m. Thursday, a deputy was on patrol in the 300 block of Fifth Street SW in Eyota when they spotted a vehicle in a park after hours. Inside were two men who said they were on their way through from Wisconsin to Nevada.
The deputy smelled marijuana, which led to a search that turned up a small amount of meth, 20 grams of marijuana, 50 assorted prescription pills and some LSD.
We feel sorry for them and their tickets lost.
