Yesterday was Record Store Day, and by all early reports, it was an incredibly successful one. Lines around the blocks at record stores nationwide won’t save the music industry, but proved that there’s still a passion for physical product, at least twice a year. At any rate, Machine Head chose RSD as an opportunity release a demo of a song from their forthcoming album, which of course is online now. “Killers & Kings” is a relatively short song for the band, weighing in at about 4:30, but it’s an appropriately ass-kicking song that does exactly what it’s supposed to do – leave us psyched for the new album, which will be out later this year. The band will be touring in advance of the album. You can catch them in the following cities:
