It became known last month that the Death To All Tour, featuring former members of Death and special guests paying tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner, would be returning for a second year despite a few … issues. Now exact dates for a North American leg (as well as a date in Mexico) and more details have been revealed.
According to Gun Shy Assassin, there will actually be two versions of Death To All. The first version, who will be playing in the States in April, will boast the Human album lineup of guitarist Paul Masvidal, bassist Steve DiGiorgio, and drummer Sean Reinert playing songs from the Death’s first four albums. It remains unclear as to who will be handling vocals on the tour, or whether more special guests will be added. Meanwhile, the second version will playing the final three albums and will primarily be playing in Europe (including the Neurotic Deathfest in Tilburg, Netherlands).
It’s also worth noting that there are considerably more dates scheduled for Death To All, at least version one. And getting to see the Human-era lineup performing together (with hopefully multiple singers rather than just one) will definitely be exciting to see. Check out a rundown of dates after the jump, while VIP tickets can be purchased online.
