Remember when Marilyn Manson’s autobiograpy, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, came out in 1998? Well, maybe because it’s 11 years later, or maybe because he’d rather not have a pick up artist write about him, but Manson has decided to work on his first authorized biography. LA Weekly scribe Erin Broadley has left the magazine to work on the book. That’s all good and nice, and we wish them the best. This probably wouldn’t even be worthy of a story except for one thing: the announcement included a picture of a bespectacled Manson holding a kitty. Yes, one of the creepiest looking guys of the ’90s is now looking sensitive – very sensitive. Maybe his cat and Danzig’s can get together for a play date! Manson’s forthcoming album will be released sometime this year on Cooking Vinyl. It looks like a new label and a new drummer is a Fresh Step in a new direction for him. See what we did there?
