10) Slaegt – “Kiss From A Knife”
Danish black/heavy metal project Slaegt have released a video for their new song “Kiss From A Knife.” THe track is the second single taken from their upcoming album, Goddess, out March 18th via Century Media Records.
The band comments:
“’Kiss From a Knife’ is in some ways the most aggressive and chaotic song we have written to date. But, as the vigilant ones know, a certain order can arise from chaos, if the powers within are harnessed carefully and with the right intent. The lyrics to the song deal with the union, that can occur in interactions that initially look separating rather than uniting. This might seem like a paradox, but sometimes, the greatest truths in life are found in the biggest contradictions.”

11) Wolves At The Gate – “Peace That Starts The War”
Wolves At The Gate are gearing up for their new album, Eulogies, out March 11th via Solid State Records. The group has shared a video for the song “Peace That Starts The War.”
Singer/guitarist Steve Cobucci comments:
“Most of my life was spent battling these inner struggles in a way that caused me to gain no ground against them. I felt that they were totally my burden to bear alone — invisible to all that were around me, yet overwhelming to me in the confines of my mind. It wasn’t until I learned to rest in the peace that I could begin to start the war against all the darkness within me. Writing this song was a blast. Joey got the ball rolling when he dropped the main intro riff into our Dropbox. I built the rest of the song from there. We all got together in Columbus for a writing session to finalize the songs, and that’s where it really came to life. Joey wrote the guitar solo and end riff on the spot, and we were all literally yelling, screaming, and cheering him on as he tracked it. The same went for Nick when he tracked his scratch vocals for the end of that song. It was good times.”
