Pop Evil have released the official video for their latest single, “What Remains.” Produced by Cody Quistad of Wage War, the clip directed by Sam Shapiro, both the track and video explores the dark, fragmented psyche of lead singer Leigh Kakaty.
Later this month, Pop Evil will co-headline The Animal Instinct Tour with Bad Wolves, running from October 30 in Jacksonville, NC, through November 30 in Lexington, KY. Support acts include Sierra Pilot and Oni.
Kakaty comments on the song:
“The truest version of yourself comes from reaching within the darkest corners that you’ve kept hidden from the world. It’s in those shadows that you’ll uncover the reasons for your transformation. I have evolved into something new. I am not who I used to be. I am what remains.”
