The super-group Metal Allegiance continue releasing updates on their debut album via a series of webisodes. We saw Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe and Exodus’ Gary Holt in the studio on the first episode; the second episode included a few minutes of a track featuring Troy Sanders of Mastodon; this time around, we listen to a tidbit of “Dying Song,” featuring Down/Superjoint/Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo on vocal duties and it sounds awesome.

So far we’ve gotten to hear a whole song,  “Can’t Kill the Devil” featuring Testament’s Chuck Billy, Sepultura’s Andreas Kisser and Machine Head’s Phil Demmel in addition to the already established lineup of Alex Skolnick, Mike Portnoy, Mark Menghi and David Ellefson. If you’re still not impressed by this lineup, there might be something wrong with you.

Metal Allegiance will be released on September 18th via Nuclear Blast.
